  Faith Bleasdale biography

Faith was born in Sussex but grew up in North Devon. She studied History (still a passion of hers), at Bristol University and then she moved to London. After trying and failing at a long succession of jobs she returned to her first love of writing and in 2000 she published her first novel, 'Rubber Gloves or Jimmy Choos?' She subsequently published five more books and is about to publish her seventh.

In 2004 she moved to Singapore and attempted being an Expat wife for a while. Finding that although pretty good at the drinking Gin & Tonics, she wasn't much cop at tennis or throwing dinner parties so she returned, single, to London, sad to leave Singapore but pleased to see her favourite City again. After a while of adjusting to her new single life, she decided to write about her dating exploits in a column and managed to make Bridget Jones look like a dating expert.

After giving up dating, and the column, she returned to North Devon to give birth to her first child, Xavier, and thus a new chapter in her story began. She is currently still living in North Devon, (although about to move to Somerset), with her four year old and her new husband.

Having gone from party girl to domestic Goddess-very-much-in-training, 2013 is very much about nurturing her child, working, publishing two new books, and also learning to make jam.

As well as her books, Faith has written for various publications including, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, The Sunday Times Travel, The Financial Mail, Tatler Singapore, Cleo Singapore and various local publications. Whilst in Singapore she was also an agony aunt for Cleo Singapore.

She is also a contributing editor for www.holidaygoddess.com
